with friends and family. 
May you enjoy all the dishes 
that I prepare with love.
My family were the first customers of this great restaurant.

 

ALBERTA'S WINDOW
2019
Glass mosaic mural on shaped aluminum panels.
Located at Alberta Canada Building in Tacoma, WA.
"Alberta's Window", celebrates the life of Tacoma housing advocate Alberta Canada. It is located on the facade of a building named after her. It shows Alberta looking out over the Hilltop neighborhood where she lived. It lights up at night.

"PHOENIX"
2019
This aluminum and steel mosaic sculpture is a symbol of rebirth.
The Eastside Community Center where it is located was built to bring about a rebirth to the Eastside Community.
The community center was the dream of a young man who was murdered nearby. His mother made it her cause to build the center after his death.

FIREBIRD/PAJARO DE FUEGO

"FIREBIRD"
2017

This concrete, aluminum and glass mosaic monolith is the beautiful art guardian at Luuwit View Park in Portland, Oregon. It sits atop a small hill reached via a spiral path. From this vantage point one can see the Columbia River, Mt Hood, and Mt. St. Helens (Luuwit). "Firebird's" eyes light up at night.

A MOMENT IN TIME
2018
Garfield Elementary School, Olympia, WA.
This low-relief glass mosaic mural celebrates life on the cherry orchard where the school stands now. It has features from the local geography, flora, and fauna. As well as whimsical creations to spark the imagination.

A DAY IN WRIGHT PARK
2015
Tacoma General Hospital, Tacoma, WA.
This mosaic celebrates Wright Park, an old and beautiful park located directly across from Tacoma General Hospital. It is a place where healthcare workers and relatives of patients frequent to rest and restore.
